Emerging LanguagesTask Force (
ELTF) - Buildings Behind Aiso Library

ELTF is responsible for conducting language instruction in the OEF languages to assigned military personnel from both the Cryptological Training System (CTS) and the General Intelligence Training System (GITS) of the four military services. We also teach languages to civilian students from the Department of Defense and from other U.S. government agencies such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation. ELTF conducts resident training for basic courses only, indicated below by their course code designator and length.  For Intermediate, Advanced, Sustainment, and Refresher courses* see box at right.

Intermediate, Advanced, Sustainment, and Refresher courses are now taught under the supervision of the School for Continuing Education (SCE).

GWOT also supports the School of Continuing Ed. (SCE) by providing language instructors to meet Mobile Training Team (MTT) requirements submitted by military units, as well as by participating in programs in distance learning, e.g., video-teletraining (VTT).
