Language Day is an annual open house at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) on the Presidio of Monterey, California. It takes place annually in the spring. This event is open to all California schools, colleges, and universities, as well as the general public. DLIFLC consists of some 3,500 military and civilian students studying more than two dozen languages and dialects. We welcome the opportunity to show you the finest foreign language organization in the world. Next year’s open houses promise to be great learning experiences for all.

This "all day" recruiting event is attended by all faculty, staff, and current DLIFLC students, as well as by more than 7000 high school students from within 400 miles of Monterey.  It displays music, choirs, dances, class demos, cultural displays, and ethnic food.

If you or any other alum plans to visit DLIFLC on Language Day, please contact Al Macks al.macks@monterey.army.mil, or Ben De La Selva at dliaa1@dli-alumni.org for any special requirements to get on post.
